Abstract

This article is devoted to identifying the main prospects in the development of ecotourism in Japan. Nowadays, there are several types of ecotourism in Japan which are green (rural) and natural which are intertwined and represent a concept that is relevant for Japan: “Convection and symbiosis of cities, rural areas and green tourism”. At the same time, however, despite the ambiguity that lies in the concept, there is a place for complexity of the touristic development. The article attempts to identify significant areas such as ecological tourism in Japan, in connection with which to identify further trends in its development.
