Abstract

This article focuses on the tourism industry, as one of the most affected industries due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The closure of borders, the introduction of a lockdown - all these are forced measures to contain the spread of the virus, taken by the Government of the Russian Federation, which negatively affected tourism in general. The author examines the actions of tour operators and the behavior of tourists in an emergency, and also identifies the main problems of interaction.
