Protest movements within of framework of "color revolutions" in post-soviet space

Abstract

The modern system of international relations was marked by the emergence of new problems and conflicts, the resolution of which required completely new methods. One of these problems, which became a phenomenon of the late 20th and early 21st centuries, was the so-called "color revolution". Many countries of the Post-Soviet space after the fall of the USSR slid into an autocratic system of political governance. This led them into the deepest political and socio-economic crises.
This article discusses the phenomenon of "color revolutions" in the post-Soviet space, as well as the causes and consequences that affect the further functioning of the state.
The purpose of this theoretical study is to consider the impact of "color revolutions" in the countries of the Post-Soviet space on further political and socio-economic development.
The result of this theoretical study was the conclusion that the political situation in the countries in which the "color revolutions" took place did not change for the better as a result of the change of power.
