Cultural and educational activities of museums as a factor in the development of the national culture of Kyrgyzstan

Abstract

The article examines some issues of cultural and educational activities of museums on the example of museums in the southern part of Kyrgyzstan. In the process of rapid globalization in the world, each nation is trying to preserve its identity. In this case, the role of museums in society, which preserves the historical and cultural heritage of mankind, is growing. On the basis of sociological surveys, an analysis was carried out in order to determine the level of cultural and educational work of museums in a modern changing society. It became clear that the museums that began to operate in our society a century ago have accumulated the valuable heritage left by our ancestors, and the work of passing it on to future generations is not being fully implemented. Therefore, we determined that the development of the museum industry in accordance with modern requirements requires a high level of support from the authorities and the public.
