Guanxi as a negotiating style in China

Abstract

China is an amazing country and today it is one of the most developed countries in the world. Many entrepreneurs consider this country for investment. However, investors face various problems when cooperating with Chinese partners. The key to finding a common language and working with them is not only being able to communicate, but you have to understand their culture, their mentality, and how they differ from investors in other countries. To do this, in this article we will look at the history of the phenomenon of informal relations (guanxi) in Chinese society. On the basis of the literature in Russian, English and Chinese the author has attempted to define the concept of guanxi, to consider the history of development and the impact of this phenomenon on all levels of Chinese life.
