The role of Frederick II in the rise of Prussia
Abstract
The article examines the significance of the personality of Frederick II in the process of political strengthening of Prussia in the second half of the XVIII century. The author analyzes the ruler's contribution to the military sphere, diplomacy, domestic and cultural policy. The research is based on a deep historiographical tradition of studying this historical person.
