King-in-exile Charles II and his role in the organization of the underground organization "The Sealed Knot" in England in the period 1653–1655
Abstract
The article examines the problems of Charles II's personal contribution to the activities of the organization "Sealed Knot". The article analyzes the history of the formation of this organization and the historical connection with it of the king himself in exile. The nature of the functioning of the "Node", the degree of its political activity under the leadership of Charles II is considered.
