The religious factor in the politics of Elizabeth I and Mary Stuart: features of the film presentation
Abstract
The article, based on the film presentation, examines the influence of the religious factor in the politics of Queen Elizabeth I of England and Queen Mary Stuart of Scotland. Cultural memory and its features are analyzed in the context of cinematography associated with these historical figures. Special attention is paid to the political confrontation between Mary Stuart and Elizabeth Tudor.
