Philip Melanchthon: ideas of humanistic university education
Abstract
The article attempts to study the contribution of Philip Melanchthon to the formation of ideas of humanistic education. The problem of the formative role of personality in the context of the university environment of medieval Germany is posed. For the analysis, a corpus of sources authored by F. Melanchthon himself is involved.
