K-POP: KOREAN CULTURE TAKING OVER THE WORLD?
Abstract
The article considers k-pop as one of the most dynamically developing forms of modern music, which has recently become increasingly popular among young people and has a powerful influence on the development of mass culture. K-pop is moving not only to the Asian market, but also to the rest of the world. This is a complex socio-cultural phenomenon, which is a synthesis of the musical tradition of the West and traditional Korean folk music, from which he inherited a charge of positive energy.
