Рsychological and pedagogical support for sociocultural adaptation of migrant children
Abstract
The article highlights the problem of social and cultural adaptation of migrant children in the educational environment. The author views a child migrant as a connecting link that synthesizes in themselves both cultures: the native culture and the culture of the host country. Therefore, a migrant child needs such an organization of intercultural contact within the educational institution, which will allow him to preserve his cultural identity in the process of integration into a new community. The relationship between the success of a child's adaptation and the level of competence of psychologists and teachers of an educational institution, the need for psychological and pedagogical support for the integration and socio-cultural adaptation of children from migrant families is shown. A description of the content of the program of psychological and pedagogical support of children of migrants in the educational environment of elementary school is given.
